The Fourth of July is just around the corner and the best local celebration is coming up on July 5th at Freedom Fest.  If you have never been to Freedom Fest, you're missing out.  Each year, the Herr family, in conjunction with Chester County sponsors this event.  It features a live band followed by an outstanding fireworks display at dusk.

Bring a picnic, some lawn chairs and a blanket and let's gather in a large group in the middle of the field.  Wear your CAF shirts if you have one or red/white/blue if you don't.  No one is allowed to gather around the pavilions this year so we'll have to stake out an area in the large field where the crowd listens to the band and watches the fireworks.  There are lots of vendors selling food if you don't want to bring a picnic.  Look for the CAF and flag balloons to find us.

The gates open at 6:00, so plan to get there shortly thereafter to secure a good spot and get as many of us together as possible.

Freedom Fest is always a great time and what better way to celebrate our nation's birthday than watching the "rockets red glare, the bombs bursting in air" with fellow patriots?

We hope to see you there.  For more information call Alison 610-869-6504 or email her at
